Clinical Supervision
My theoretical orientation is Collaborative Language System Therapy and Narrative Therapy. This means that I believe in the power of the collaborative relationship, characterized by mutual collaboration, empowerment, and empathic understanding. In addition, our dialogical encounter will provide narratives for exploring, reflection, and meaning making. I believe the growth as a clinician is within everyone possesses the ability to continue learning within a supportive and affirmative environment. Therefore, as a “fellow traveler”, I will use intentional responses geared towards facilitating a learning environment to enact growth in addition to other psychotherapy theoretical frameworks.
Supervision relationship will last for a limited amount of time. The supervisory relationship is a professional relationship. You and I collaboratively decide together the needs and the goals of supervision. LPC-Associate license is up to 5 years without renewal and no less than 18 months. Note, I will be ok if you take your time to cumulate hours within 5 years time span, but we will establish a plan of action to have a transparent understanding of how long supervision will last.
